    Brides is a film about two teenage girls who decide to run away from their lives and the UK, after experiencing Islamophobia in school. They get stranded in Istanbul and must find a way to carry on their travels before someone realises what they’ve done and where they’ve gone.

    It explores the themes of friendship, hope and radicalisation.

    Four BIFA nominations, including Best Casting and Best Lead and Joint-Lead Performances for Ebada Hassan and Safiyya Ingar.
